I've Become a Peddler (of sorts)

Yes, I have become a peddler.  And, quite frankly I enjoy it.  Except when the wind is coming out of the south and I am heading south! Or vice versa with north.  Below is a photo of my trusty partner in crime.

 Isn't she just cute?!?
The previous owner was June Reid, Aunt June.  I think she would be pleased to know I ride June around town.  The basket was a Mothers Day gift.   It holds my valuables.  Bank bag, purse, Pepsi, or mail.  Of course, it only holds one of those items at a time!!!  I have quite fallen in love with the childhood pastime of bike riding all over again.

'Bassett' meets Szilagyi

A Bassett is introduced to a Szilagyi and once again it is love at first sight.

At least for the Bassett it was!
My own children were raised with Bassett Hounds.  Delightful, loving, easy going (speaking of the dogs), but they love to roam. I was tempted to purchase this little guy, but then I remembered....he would  grow up!

"The Bachelor" and his party!

For Uncle Phil's bachelor party we walked (did I mention I love living in town!) over to the pool.  Phil was the shark and these were his little snacks!

Uncle Phil with his sister, brothers, nieces, and nephews.  Perhaps swimming was not such a great idea as the majority of the family came down with sore throats and colds!  Scott ended up in the ER room Saturday morning and Claudia has not caught one germ yet!!!  I attribute it to the Wells-Hardy last names I claim.

The 'S' word!

S:
Service:  I have discovered great joy and happiness serving in the church.  Remember...it does not matter where you serve, but rather how you serve.  And, yes you can say no to callings.  You need to understand though  the work of God will go forward with or without you.  When you say no you will never know what blessings you missed out on.
Sacrifice:  "Brings forth the blessings of Heaven."  A subject I really need to work on!
Silence:  Is golden or else someone is way ticked at you!
Sanity:  Speaking from experience...if you lose it I promise it will come back.
Sex:  It is a fact of life that this is what determines the gender of my grandchildren!
